What can i say? The blog was born in late 2004 in Perkins when i was restless one afternoon when studying up at Acadia U and here we are...lots have changed in between 2004 and the early part of 2010...i almost got a double major, lost a Dad, went to Japan and to South Korea, remained employed almost the entire time, i cheered on my Axemen and i am back at Acadia U again, maybe more electronically this time around. You see what comes around goes around...what was old is new again. One thing never changed and that is Robbblogs, sure there were times where the ol blog went on sabbatical, one dumb decision i did was that i never blogged from overseas and really i should have...would have been a good placcve to vent out those frustriations, but yet share in some of the fun i was having as well... what does the future hold? No clue...but please stick around for the BIG 500th!!!
As i pursue my educational dreams, there is much i have remembered from these big six years since starting this blog. Those people who have been good to me, and those who have not. The good things i have done and some of the bad. Alot of that is in the past now. I guess what im trying to say is that there are those who never believed in me, put me down, laughed at me..why? Because it makes them feel better about themselves, but yet they will not see through their narrow-mindedness to go out and achieve for themselves, as i near my 40th year (Next March...) i know i have accomplished more than the nay-sayers said i would, but im not done yet...
I just love it when people say "You can't" and i say to myself..."Why the hell not?" What should make me miserable only makes me stronger.. i remember getting that letter of rejection from Acadia in late summer of 2008 about their education program...but eventually i went in the backdoor and now i am in the ESL program and i am achieving very good marks taking EDUCATION classes... deny my application? Decline? Here is what happens when you give someone a chance...overcoming obsticles that have been placed in my way...
Anyways i decided to celebrate the 400th post by finding out what the hell did Old Man Robb chat about the most? What topics are near and dear to his heart? Well i have been archiving the posts as of late, that is a task to be finished at a later date like lots of other things, but yet here is what i found so far...here we go ladies and germs...a drumroll please...this is the A to Z of Robbblogs from 2004-2010..enjoy!
