30 Songs in 30 Days...

A friend on Facebook put one of these together and challenged me to do the same...so i did...here is the list..

Day 01 – Your favourite song- Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones...funny now they are dead and gone and all of a sudden they get recognized...teleport back to the early 90s and try and buy a t-shirt....good luck!

Day 02 – Your least favourite song- Anything by Nickelback...Nickleback is like American cheese. Kids eat it because they were told it was cheese. But adults know that American cheese is just melted down plastic goo that has no value and makes you sick to your stomach. That is what Nickleback is....

Day 03 – A song that makes you happy- Louie Louie By Motorhead-Lemmy is the coolest person alive..

Day 04 – A song that makes you sad- Changes by Black Sabbath- The ultimate departure for band who basically invented metal...yea yea peeps say Zeppelin all you want..the Sabs defined it..and for those who think Sabbath is only metal should listen to this beautiful piece of work..and not to Oz's kid's massacre of this classic...

Day 05 – A song that reminds you of someone- Sister Christian by Night Ranger...good 80s tune that reminds me of the end of grade six and the start of grade seven and all those Passage ladies that missed out on me...KIDDING!

Day 06 – A song that reminds you of somewhere- Somewhere Near Japan (The Beach Boys) Well i was in Japan for a good seven months...

Day 07 – A song that reminds you of a certain event- At War With Satan (Venom) Reminds me of the Shearwater Dances for some odd ol reason...hmmmm

Day 08 – A song that you know all the words to- Paranoid (Black Sabbath) Finished with my woman cause she...ya i know the rest..

Day 09 – A song that you can dance to- Jessie's Girl (Rick Springfield) oh cmon who can't boogie to this?

Day 10 – A song that makes you fall asleep- Anything by Leonard Cohen- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Day 11 – A song from your favourite band- 7-11 (Ramones) Don't have a copy of 81's Pleasant Dreams? It's the Brothers from Queen's answer to Sgt Pepper...

Day 12 – A song from a band you hate-Anything by Bon Jovi- Comedian Denis Leary put it best when he said, “I mean, Stevie Ray Vaughan is dead, and we can’t get Jon Bon Jovi in a helicopter?”

Day 13 – A song that is a guilty pleasure- Saturday Night (Bay City Rollers) Let the flaming begin..

Day 14 – A song that no one would expect you to love- Daydream Believer (The Monkees) Jimi Hendrix opened for the Monkees...i shit you not.. When he would sing "Foxy Lady" the ladies in the audience kept screaming back "Sexy Davy"

Day 15 – A song that describes you- He's a Whore (Cheap Trick) Well everyone tells me i am...

Day 16 – A song that you used to love but now hate- But i like all those tunes...

Day 17 – A song that you hear often on the radio- My Sharona (The Knack) Too Much...

Day 18 – A song that you wish you heard on the radio- Please Don't Touch (Motorhead & Girlschool) An awesome collaboration between two rock out bands..

Day 19 – A song from your favourite album- Beat on the Brat (Ramones)

Day 20 – A song that you listen to when you’re angry- Anarchy in the UK (The Sex Pistols) Makes me wanna drive fast....

Day 21 – A song that you listen to when you’re sad- Patience by Guns N' Roses..back when they were Guns N' Roses..

Day 22– A song that you want to play at your wedding- We're Not Gonna Take It (Twisted Sister) Like im getting married..

Day 23– A song that you want to play at your funeral- I Never Cry (Alice Cooper)- Underrated tune by the king of shock rock

Day 24 – A song that makes you laugh- 8675-Jenny (Tommy Tutone) Always cracks me up..esp the video

Day 25 – A song that you can play on an instrument- Alot of tunes...

Day 26 – A song that you wish you could play- Rock You Like a Hurricane (Scorpions) If i ever buy that Flying V from Musicstop...

Day 27 – A song that makes you feel guilty- Liquor & Whores (Bubbles & The Shitrockers)..should be a #1 tune..

Day 28 – A song from your childhood- Beth (Kiss) Believe it or not i first owned this tune on a K-Tel Album called "Stars"

Day 29 – Your favourite song at this time last year- The Fear in Your Eyes (Gwen Stacy) Killer tune from a band NOONE i know has heard of...

Day 30- A song that you listen to when you’re happy- Wouldn't it Be Nice? (The Beach Boys) Tune always puts a smile on my face
